Get startedEvery Altara journey follows the same considered process. We begin by understanding your health, establishing your biological baseline and creating a care plan designed around your goals, biology and wellbeing.
Begin with a health assessment and intake designed to understand your health history, goals and suitability for clinical care.
Accredited pathology and biomarker analysis help establish your biological baseline and inform your clinical picture and your practitioner's recommendations.
A dedicated consultation with an Australian healthcare practitioner to review your results, understand your goals and discuss personalised recommendations.
A tailored health plan informed by your biology, clinical assessment and long-term health objectives. Treatment options, benefits, risks and alternatives are discussed, with recommendations made where clinically appropriate.
Ongoing clinical support, biomarker monitoring and follow-up reviews help ensure your plan continues to evolve as your health, goals and biology change over time.
A long-term clinical partnership designed to support your health and wellbeing for years to come.
A real-time consultation with a qualified Australian healthcare practitioner. Your history, current context and the markers worth investigating are agreed together, not from a questionnaire read in isolation.
Accredited Australian pathology partners run the panels your practitioner has selected. Results return for clinical review, read alongside your history, never as a standalone report.
Recommendations shaped around your assessment and made only if clinically appropriate. Non-prescribing outcomes are equally common: advice, referral, monitoring, lifestyle guidance or no treatment.
Quarterly review consultations refine your plan as your data and circumstances develop. Care that follows you over time, not a single appointment.
Your care plan is built from your assessment, then monitored and refined as your biology responds. Evidence-informed care with ongoing practitioner oversight, shaped around your results.
Check-in data from your weekly updates, reviewed by your qualified Australian healthcare practitioner at scheduled intervals and refined over time.

All consultations are conducted via live telehealth video. Messaging is used for non-clinical follow-up only.
Your practitioner selects the panels relevant to your assessment. Below is the typical scope of a Performance & Recovery assessment. Not every marker is appropriate for every person.
Glucose regulation, insulin sensitivity and lipid handling, the core of how your body produces and uses energy during and between training.
Iron status and related markers are among the most common contributors to training fatigue and reduced capacity. Reviewed where clinically indicated.
Background inflammation and nutritional status can shape how your other results are read and what your practitioner recommends.
Your training load, sleep patterns, nutrition and medical history sit alongside the bloodwork. The clinical picture is always read together.
Panels are clinically selected by your practitioner based on your assessment. Not every marker is appropriate for every person; your practitioner may add, remove, or substitute tests where clinically indicated.

The questions we hear most. If yours isn't here, you can contact our team.
No referral is required to begin your assessment. If your practitioner believes coordinated care with your GP would be helpful, they will discuss this with you and proceed only with your consent.
The consultation is the service we offer, bloodwork is part of the assessment, not an end in itself. Results are always reviewed by your practitioner in the context of your history.
Onboarding typically takes four to six weeks across your assessment, clinical consultation, diagnostics and care plan stages. Scheduled review consultations continue from there.
Consultations are conducted Australia-wide via secure telehealth. Telehealth is not suitable for every situation. Your practitioner may recommend in-person assessment, GP review, specialist referral, further investigation or no treatment depending on your circumstances.
Pricing reflects the scope your practitioner agrees is appropriate after your assessment and consultation. Diagnostics and any pharmacy costs are separate from the consultation fee.
Telehealth limitations. Telehealth is not suitable for every situation. Your practitioner may recommend in-person assessment, GP review, specialist referral, further investigation or no treatment depending on your circumstances.
Individual variation. Individual results vary based on your unique biology and commitment to the programme. Assessment findings do not guarantee a particular outcome.
Recommended only if clinically appropriate. Any treatment is recommended only where clinically appropriate. Non-prescribing outcomes include advice, referral, monitoring, lifestyle guidance or no treatment. We do not advertise specific prescription medicines to the public in accordance with Australian regulatory requirements.
